Project/Program Manager - IT 2

Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Project/Program Manager for a contract position in CA(Hybrid). The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage medium to large-sized projects spanning across business areas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project budgets ranging from $50,000 to $5,000,000 and overseeing matrix teams with 25 to 100 members.

• Impact beyond area of responsibility and serve in interim leadership roles as needed
• Ensure strategic direction of projects aligns with business unit goals and objectives
• Consult and make recommendations to senior management/executives on significant issues
• Interact with all levels, including senior management, to influence decision-making
• Identify key business and technical issues, develop action plans, and implement solutions
• Operate at a strategic business level, incorporating business and IT strategies within projects
• Manage the design, development, and implementation of new or enhanced systems projects or programs, including:
• Assembling project team and assigning individual responsibilities
• Developing schedules to ensure timely project completion and meeting interim deadlines
• Communicating with internal and external parties on project status
• Preparing reports for management review
• Managing the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of the project
• Ensure all phase gates and appropriate documentation are completed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Health Care - 3 years
• Project Management - 5 to 7 years
• Problem solving and excellent analytic skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5-7 years of experience in the related area
• Master's degree or clinical licenses preferred
• Previous project management experience required
• Health care experience preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
• Typically viewed as a specialist within discipline with broad knowledge of project management
• College degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience
