We’re seeking a Part-Time Project Coordinator to assist with a legacy-to-modernization project for a New Mexico state agency. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives behind the scenes—keeping things running smoothly and supporting successful project delivery.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you'll work closely with the Project Manager, Business Analyst, technical team, and agency stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution by:

• Scheduling and coordinating project meetings, including preparing agendas and capturing meeting notes
• Tracking action items, deliverables, and deadlines using project tracking tools
• Maintaining project documentation, status reports, and project plans
• Assisting with stakeholder communications, including follow-ups and updates
• Supporting the preparation and submission of required reports, timelines, and change requests
• Helping coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) schedules and communications
• Managing project calendars, files, and communications to ensure visibility and transparency

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of experience in a project coordination, program support, or administrative role
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfortable using project tools like MS Excel, MS Project, Google Workspace, or JIRA
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with project lifecycle concepts (Agile or Waterfall)

Nice to Haves

• Experience supporting state or local government projects
• Exposure to IT or digital transformation environments
• Familiarity with requirements tracking, UAT coordination, or documentation processes
• Experience working alongside Business Analysts or Technical Teams
