ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Scheduler to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This is an on-site position.
As a Project Scheduler, you will work with our Navy Aviation Division, supporting the Cost & Schedule Analysis Department. You will play a key role in managing and analyzing project schedules, providing schedule-related insights to senior stakeholders across various projects and programs.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Collect requirements from technical subject matter experts and translate them into an integrated government schedule (IGS)
Evaluate project documentation such as Statements of Work (SOW), Integrated Master Plans (IMP), industry Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to extract relevant information for the integrated schedule
Analyze schedule data related to programs, projects, and/or processes using MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Power BI
Format and present schedule information using OnePager Professional, MS Power BI, MS Project, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
Facilitate meetings and support schedule processes, including collaboration with various program or project stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Statistics, Business, Management, or Engineering, or equivalent education and year's of experience in lieu of degree
4+ years of experience analyzing contractor bills of material and acquisition lifecycle documentation, with experience in Critical Path Method (CPM), networked schedule development, baseline, and status updates using milestones, tasks, duration, lead/lag, and other standard data points for schedule development, maintenance, and analysis
4+ years of experience working with MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Math, Science, Statistics, Business, Management, or Engineering
Experience with OnePager Professional and MS Power BI
Knowledge of government acquisition processes
Experience with technical program management support
Experience interfacing with senior-level clients
Clearance Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance prior to starting this position
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods
Ability to move around the office and facility for equipment access, communication, and meetings
Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as printers
Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management via email, phone, and virtual communication methods (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
