Project Scheduler – Oracle Primavera P6

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Project Scheduler with experience in Oracle Primavera P6 to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role will support multiple projects within the electric utility, transmission line, substation, and/or telecommunications sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of scheduling, project controls, and financial analysis. This position provides a great opportunity to work with experienced project managers and contribute to the successful delivery of projects at various phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain schedules in Oracle Primavera P6 (20–200 activities)
• Collaborate with 5-6 project managers to support projects across design and construction phases
• Load and maintain resources within project schedules
• Ensure quality checks and inspections on project control deliverables
• Compare project schedules with financial data to ensure consistency and project timeline accuracy
• Communicate technical progress of projects in electric utility, transmission line, substation, or telecommunications sectors
• Integrate schedule and financial data into Excel using formulas, pivot tables, and macros

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business from an accredited program
• Minimum 3 years related experience
• Experience with Primavera P6 (2-5 years), Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
