Summary

ROLE PURPOSE:

To manage and grow strategic accounts within the Saudi market across residential and hospitality projects. The Key Account Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets, building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors, and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive building and finishing materials solutions.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


SALES

  • Proactively identify and pursue new project opportunities in the residential, hospitality, and commercial sectors.
  • Achieve and exceed annual project sales targets, with a focus on securing high-value deals.
  • Prepare competitive and technically sound offers including BOQs, pricing files, and material proposals.

PROSPECTING

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of clients, including contractors, consultants, architects, and developers.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover new business opportunities and position our offerings effectively.
  • Establish strong visibility within the Saudi projects market through networking, site visits, and relationship-building.

MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS POTENTIAL

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring timely and efficient communication and service delivery.
  • Manage the full client journey: from initial inquiry, design coordination, and proposal submission to contract finalization and handover.
  • Provide high-quality customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored product and material solutions.

SERVICING THE CUSTOMERS

  • Demonstrate initiative, ownership, and ability to lead internal coordination with design, estimation, technical, and project teams.
  • Support the development of junior team members through knowledge sharing and mentorship, with the potential to grow into a leadership role.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives within the Projects Division.


KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 10 years of experience in project sales within Saudi Arabia.
  • Proven record of selling projects worth 10 million SAR or more per year.
  • Experience working with:
  • Building materials suppliers or manufacturers
  • Fit out or design & build contractors
  • Furniture or sanitary ware companies
  • Strong knowledge of project sales, BOQs, pricing, material submittals, and technical documents.
  • Good network with contractors, consultants, architects, and developers.
  • Skilled in email communication, preparing offers, and writing reports.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Tech-savvy and organized, able to handle multiple projects at once.


EDUCATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or Business Administration.
  • Additional certifications in sales or project management are a plus.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
