Your Profile:

✔ Graduate/Postgraduate with 3 to 10 years of experience in Project Sales.

 ✔ Strong knowledge of the Electrical Industry (Preferably from Electrical industry-B2B).

 ✔ Ability to work independently and drive results.



Company Info:

Goldmedal Electricals Pvt. Ltd. - Established in 1979 by Shri Otmalji Goraji in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Goldmedal established a factory for manufacturing of wires and cables in Bhiwadi, near Delhi in 2005 followed

by a manufacturing unit in Vasai, Maharashtra for the production of modular switches and accessories in 2006. The company set up its tool room facility in 2010 and a year later, launched the Curve range of modular switches. In the following years, Goldmedal ventured into various product categories and expanded the business to include LEDs, PVC pipes, doorbells, accessories like night lamps and spike guards, MCBs, DBs, home automation products etc. The business turnover of the company in 2018-19 was INR 1,400 crore with a projected CAGR of more than 40 per cent year on year.




Major Job Roles & Responsibilities:


1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

Identify and target potential business clients (e.g., contractors, builders, OEMs, panel builders, industrial clients, Architect, and consultants).

Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers (engineers, procurement heads, etc.).

Provide customized electrical solutions based on client needs.


📈 2. Sales & Business Development

Generate leads, give product demos, and close deals for electrical components (like switches & switchgear, lighting, wires, Fan, Home automation etc.).

Achieve sales targets and KPIs.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.


🛠️ 3. Technical Support & Product Knowledge

Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for products.

Stay updated on product specifications, standards (e.g., IEC, IS), and new technologies.

Conduct site visits, audits, and troubleshoot product-related issues.


📊 4. Market Research & Strategy

Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.

Help develop go-to-market strategies or identify new verticals.

Prepare regular reports and forecasting models.


📦 5. Coordination with Internal Teams

Work closely with Sales coordinators, logistics, and SCM for seamless order execution.

Coordinate with finance for invoicing and payment collection.


🧾 6. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure contracts and proposals meet legal and safety standards.

Maintain documentation related to orders, client communications, and compliance.



Key Competencies:

 ✅ Strong understanding of end-to-end sales processes & lead generation.

 ✅ Identifying & close the leads proactively.
