WE’RE HIRING – PROJECT MANAGER


Marrbeck Construction Ltd. is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in the role of Project Manager. 

Experience should include a minimum of 5 years in building construction in the commercial, multi-family, institutional and public-infrastructure sectors with a proven track record of managing projects from award to client turnover.

POSITION OVERVIEW:


Reporting to the Director of Field Operations, the Project Manager is the project team leader for Marrbeck and is accountable for assigned projects during the construction phase.


Working independently and as part of a project team, the Project Manager is responsible for:


  • Managing and coordinating of multiple scopes of a construction project including our trade partners.
  • Construction Planning and Scheduling to meet budgeting and building standards
  • Client and Trade Partner Relationship Management
  • Managing and mentoring of assigned Project Coordinators and Administrators
  • Change Management within the project(s)
  • Health Safety Environment and security of the public, staff and the workers
  • Quality and Risk Management
  • Budget and Cash Flow Management


The Project Manager receives direct supervision and assistance from Company Management regarding overall policy and delivery objectives. As well, is encouraged to provide safety, quality, schedule and budget strategies to ensure attainment of those objectives.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager working for a General Contractor
  • Degree or Diploma in a related discipline is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written are mandatory
  • Knowledge of and experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to coordinate multiple scopes of a construction project.
  • Critical thinking and effective decision-making skills
  • Experienced with MS Project, MS Excel, AutoDesk Construction Cloud
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license.
