Summary

Terrific opportunity to grow with a suburban Philadelphia medical communications company. Matrix Medical Communications is looking to hire a dynamic individual with a passion for managing cutting-edge projects in the healthcare media landscape to join our team as a Project Manager. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, organizational skills, and creativity to deliver engaging and impactful educational experiences to healthcare professional and consumer audiences. The Project Manager will collaborate with members of the Editorial, Sales, and Strategy teams to execute media programs by way of peer-reviewed medical journals, websites, e-newsletters, and meetings, across multiple disciplines of medicine.

 

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Owns and manages multichannel-project deliverables from concept to deployment. 
  • Manages internal (team-specific) and external (ie, client facing) timelines. 
  • Communicates during internal status meetings to provide updates or changes in project plans.
  • Follows up with documentation from internal meetings with project progress, next steps, and deliverables to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Manages 3rd party vendors and client digital team relationships, collaborates on timelines, and identifies challenges and risks to stay on schedule.
  • Facilitates handoff of client materials and data reporting.
  • Proactively escalates and suggests solutions to project-related issues to management.
  • Participates in discussions related to process optimization.
  • Maintains relationships with different internal departments including Editorial, Sales, and Strategy.
  • Informs team members regarding start of new projects, upcoming deadlines, quality control, revisions, and next steps.
  • Solves project or client challenges in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in Project Management, Production or Marketing.
  • Pharmaceutical Marketing or Production experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) or equivalent platform.
  • Knowledge of project management tools.
