Scrawlr is a company building a software platform and series of products dedicated to enabling alternative forms of communication layered on existing internet content, together with delivering superior monetization flexibility and content ownership for content generators.

Jauntr, a division of Scrawlr, will provide the commercial airline industry, hotels, and other travel vendors the ability to offer a range of direct purchase options of their services to customers.

Summary

We are looking for a Project Manager that will lead all project management activities of Jauntr. As the Project Manager, you will perform a broad range of essential functions, including ensuring overall project intent and prioritization is maintained across all ongoing development activities, and assessing the efficacy of all ongoing work of Jauntr’s development team.

Responsibilities

Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

• Ensuring overall projects intent and current prioritization of tasks is maintained across all ongoing development activities
• Completing assessment of ongoing work within the production teams
• Generating and managing project/team/individual KPI reporting via internal tools (e.g. JIRA)
• Identifying and completing analysis of staffing deficiencies within the production teams 
• Completing project reports, including all required updates on progress, potential impediments to success, and key required action items
• Participating in quality assurance activities and managing resource allocation/reprioritization based on QA process feedback

Required Skills or Experience

Candidates seeking to apply for the Project Manager position must satisfy the following requirements:

• At least four (4) years of relevant experience in technical project management
• A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in a dev agency or company environments
• A technical background with a solid understanding of, and/or hands-on experience with, software engineering and infrastructure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization
• Excellent analytical reasoning, problem solving, time management, and organizational skills

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

• Experience working in a start-up environment
• Experience with issue tracking software flow automation
• Experience with JIRA/Atlassian products and/or Jira alternatives
• Experience in quality assurance procedures planning and implementation
• Working knowledge of UX/digital design

Salary and Benefits

• $100,000 - $120,000 base salary, with potential bonus based on individual performance
• Extended health benefits plan

• Time Commitment: 37.5 hours per week, with occasional overtime required
• Work Location: Vancouver, BC
• Start Date: Immediate
