Supply Ontario is a centralized procurement agency formed in 2020 to streamline and modernize procurement across Ontario’s public sector. The agency supports ministries, hospitals, school boards, and other public institutions by ensuring access to high-quality goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively.
The Senior Project Manager will lead critical technical initiatives focused on Identity & Access Management (IAM), Information Management, and Regulatory Compliance. The role requires deep expertise in technical delivery, project lifecycle management, and implementation of enterprise security and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project delivery for technical initiatives including IAM systems, information governance platforms, and compliance mandates.
Manage the full project lifecycle: requirements gathering, vendor coordination, technical testing, rollout, training, and post-implementation support.
Implement enterprise-wide IAM solutions, privileged access strategies, and identity lifecycle controls.
Coordinate data governance and retention initiatives in alignment with standards like NIST, ISO, and Ontario public sector regulations.
Drive change management, training, stakeholder communications, and adoption strategies.
Conduct gap assessments against NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and lead remediation efforts.
Create executive reports, risk assessments, charters, and training material to support secure, compliant deployments.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, ensuring solutions align with business needs and enterprise architecture.
Support steering committees with progress updates, risk analysis, and strategic recommendations.
Must-Have Qualifications
7+ years of experience in project management roles focused on IT Delivery, IAM, Compliance, and Information Management.
In-depth understanding of regulatory and cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, and CIS Controls.
Proven experience managing IAM platforms (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint) and security operations tools.
Experience deploying enterprise-level Information Management solutions: data governance, classification, retention, and secure access protocols.
Familiarity with compliance audits, risk assessments, and governance models.
Demonstrated success in technical rollouts, including phased deployment, stakeholder onboarding, and support strategies.
Strong change management, communication, and training delivery skills for technical implementations.
Ability to manage cross-agency initiatives and sensitive public sector data projects.
Desirable Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM.
Experience leading public sector projects or working within Ontario government frameworks is an asset.
Experience preparing executive-level briefings and leading steering committee presentations.
