Lead Project Manager – Capital/Industrial Equipment/Manufacturing

Location: Norcross, GA (Hybrid – 2 days remote after 3 months)

Pay: $130K–$150K base + 15% bonus

Schedule: Full-time

They are looking for you—an experienced Lead Project Manager or a highly skilled Project Manager ready to move into leadership—to manage a team of 7–8 project managers focused on equipment execution. This is a direct hire opportunity offering leadership, autonomy, and impact.

What You Get To Do

• Lead and mentor a team of 7–8 Project Managers in the execution of new equipment projects
• Oversee projects from order intake to commissioning, ensuring deliverables meet safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Manage customer relationships and ensure contract requirements are fully understood and met
• Allocate and develop resources while driving performance, risk management, and conflict resolution
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and Service teams
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and uphold corporate standards and compliance
  
  

What You Need To Succeed

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 5–10+ years of relevant project management experience in the capital equipment industry (packaging, food, beverage, bakery, material handling, etc.)
• Prior experience managing a team is a plus, or a strong Project Manager ready to step up
• Knowledge of project financials, installation, and commissioning
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and ERP/SAP
• PMI certification is a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
