JOB – Project Manager (Manufacturing Engineering)
LOCATION – Tampa, FL
TERM – Direct Hire
SALARY - $110,000 - $130,000 per annum.

A leading provider of integrated process solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional engineering and delivery teams through the full project lifecycle. This is a key role that combines technical acumen with strong project leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality execution across process systems and automation projects.
Experience in project delivery for the Food & Beverage sector is a pre-requisite for this position.
The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience managing engineering project activities and teams, ideally within process systems or industrial automation.
- Recognized Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
- Technical background in process systems design, engineering, or manufacturing.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, design, field installation, and controls.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to serve as the main point of contact between internal teams and customers.
- Experience coordinating documentation, budgets, risk assessments, and schedule milestones.
- Ability to manage change orders and maintain clear scope alignment throughout the project.
The Project Manager duties will involve:
- Leading projects from proposal through closure, ensuring delivery of scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinating work across functional teams including Process & Controls Engineering, Purchasing, I&C, Field Supervision, and more.
- Managing customer communications and clarifying scope requirements to internal teams.
- Overseeing project documentation submissions (P&IDs, schematics, etc.) and approval cycles.
- Working with engineering and supply chain to track costs, timelines, and deliverables.
- Driving project risk analysis and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Supporting continuous improvement efforts and team collaboration.
