Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee and manage our DISCOM operations under the UGBSL and DGBSL electricity projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the power sector, with hands-on expertise in electricity transmission lines, distribution systems, and managing field teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage end-to-end project activities for DISCOM operations, ensuring smooth coordination between Call Center Support and Field Response Teams (FRT).

Ensure efficient handling of electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure issues, from outage resolution to system maintenance.

Coordinate with government agencies, DISCOM partners, and internal stakeholders.

Supervise the performance of call center agents and FRT engineers.

Implement project plans, monitor KPIs, and ensure SLAs are met.

Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.

Prepare and present reports, project updates, and performance reviews.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of experience in the power sector (electricity transmission & distribution).

Proven experience in managing large-scale utility/distribution projects.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Understanding of DISCOM functions and electricity grievance redressal mechanisms.

Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.

Should be well aware of the geographical terrain and infrastructure of the project area.

Should have strong connections with FRT (Field Response Team) vendors.

Must have reliable contacts with local authorities and administrative personnel to facilitate smoother operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Prior experience with government or public utility projects.
