Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from inception through completion. What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- Cultivate strong, consistent communication with clients to keep them informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize Procore or equivalent platforms to manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, testing reports, safety protocols, and cost controls.
- Build and maintain accurate project schedules using Microsoft Project (CPM), ensuring timely deliverables for owners and subcontractors.
- Lead project kickoff and pre-construction meetings to align expectations and deliverables.
- Partner with Superintendents to manage 5-week lookahead schedules and ensure on-time completion.
- Negotiate subcontracts, define scopes of work, and vet subcontractors for project readiness.
- Track and process change orders for all scope modifications, ensuring timely written approval before work begins.
- Monitor budgets closely—track variances, manage pay applications, and review invoices and job cost reports for accuracy.
- Maintain general conditions and job-specific costs within budget to help meet and exceed profit margin targets.
Leadership & Team Impact:
- Set the bar high—ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.
- Mentor and guide team members, including Project Assistants, while collaborating with Superintendents to foster a productive site culture.
- Organize internal debriefs and client review meetings to evaluate performance and implement improvements.
- Oversee final project closeout, including punch list execution, document collection, and client sign-off.
Quality Assurance & Safety:
- Proactively resolve issues related to specifications, architectural plans, and contractor performance.
- Oversee site branding and ensure professional presentation during mobilization and demobilization.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and complete punch lists in a timely and thorough manner.
- Enforce and uphold safety standards for all on-site personnel, visitors, and tradespeople, holding team members accountable for compliance.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in commercial construction (minimum of 5 years).
- Strategic thinker with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities—able to motivate, lead, and develop teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a relentless commitment to quality and deadlines.
- Advanced financial and budget management capabilities.
- Familiarity with industry standards, construction methods, materials, and cost trends.
- Up-to-date knowledge of construction technology, codes, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook) and Adobe PDF.
- Procore experience preferred. Familiarity with BIM, LEAN, and LEED practices is a bonus.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred but not required).
- Equivalent experience in commercial construction management will be considered.

Compensation: 115,000-$130,000 plus bonuses
