About the Role
We're looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Project Engineers to join our growing team in Connecticut area. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates with internship experience who are eager to launch their careers in construction project management. You'll play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects!
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage and monitor JOC contracts and job orders at the project level.
+ Assist in planning and scheduling contract solicitations and preparing bid documents.
+ Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely project progress.
+ Evaluate service requests and collaborate with internal teams to define project scope.
+ Review contractor availability and performance to assign appropriate resources.
+ Assemble and maintain work order packages and project documentation.
+ Attend and contribute to project meetings and coordination sessions.
+ Interpret construction documents including plans, specifications, and contracts.
+ Maintain accurate records, reports, and databases related to project activities.
+ Ensure contractor compliance with JOC procedures and performance standards.
+ Support performance monitoring and reporting for the JOC unit.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills:
+ Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
+ Self-motivated with sound judgment and organizational skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Bluebeam.
+ Team-oriented with leadership potential and initiative.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
+ Internship or co-op experience in construction or project management.
+ Familiarity with public or private sector construction projects.
+ Experience with project coordination, change orders, and procurement processes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
