ManTech seeks a Project Manager to support the Program Management Office on our contract with the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, Science & Technology Division in Stafford, VA
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in the program management/oversight, direction and support for Marine Corps and Joint S&T Programs to include development of cost/schedule/performance.
Evaluate new technologies by assessing for technical merit, viability of transition and application/relevance in support of Service warfighting concepts.
Evaluate and analyze experimentation results and data for possible recommendations to Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory leadership.
Assist in development of requirements from advocates, Combatant Commands, Marine Component Commands, Marine Expeditionary Forces, and Naval Research Enterprise to assist in development of a USMC S&T strategy that supports development of future warfighting capabilities.
Assists is developing prototype Concept of Operations, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures.
Participate in service, naval, joint, and allied working groups designed to advance Joint Warfighting capabilities and integration
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years supporting Science and Technology or other Defense Acquisition related efforts.
Experience with MCWL S&T in updating project placement, developing requirements and oversite of financial management
Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in non-experiment MCWL directed efforts with the purpose of transitioning S&T development from activities such as war games and Modeling and Simulation (M&S) to live force experimentation.
Experience assisting in S&T Project Leads develop specific experiment events and provide general support to the lead on matters concerning development of test plans, management plans and technology transition agreements as needed
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/ active TS/SCI security clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
