Summary

Position Summary:

Ultimate Construction LLC is looking for a dedicated full-time Project Manager to oversee various projects and manage a substantial workload in the construction sector. We seek an individual who is highly organized, diligent, detail-oriented, passionate about construction, and eager to learn our trade thoroughly. This role is based at our office in Southington, CT.


Project Management Responsibilities

·        Solicit, track and download project documents

·        Review specifications, drawings and order materials

·        Work closely with Vendors/Suppliers for material quotes/tracking/ordering

·        Accurately prepare submittals, closeouts, RFI’s, CHRO documents, etc. including maintaining document logs

·        Pricing and tracking Change Orders

·        Responsible for day-to-day project operations including attending site meetings, inspections, field dimensions, toolbox talks, delivering consumables to project

·        Tracking project updates such as ASI’s, field bulletins, SK’s, etc.

·        Lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish ensuring timelines and deliverables are met

·        Work together with the Accounting Dept. to accurately develop SOV’s and submit AIA invoices

·        Ensure all Ultimate Construction personnel uphold the high standards of workmanship, and reliability on active job sites

·        Collaborate with Project Managers when needed to address client needs and ensure construction projects align with scheduled work

·        Provide clear and consistent updates to clients regarding project status, changes, and completion timelines

Position Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial construction project management (preferably in siding/cladding)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge to read and understand blueprints specifically architectural drawings
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments, GC’s, architects, foremen, etc.
  • Proficient in software and tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, FieldWire, Bluebeam, etc.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Clean professional appearance and habits,
  • Reliable, good work ethic, friendly, positive attitude, willingness to learn and adapt
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to get to the office or job sites on time each day


Schedule:

  • M-R, 8:00am-5:00pm, and F 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Occasional hours may be required outside of normal schedule as business needs occur
  • Travel regularly to construction sites in CT and Western MA


Job Type: Full-time, on-site, travel required
