Job Summary

The Project Manager will lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of Software Asset Management (SAM) optimization services, including advisory, managed services, licensing optimization, and implementation projects. The role is responsible for managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of services aligned with contractual obligations and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of SAM initiatives, including software licensing optimization, implementation, and advisory services.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary.
• Coordinate and facilitate communication between IT, procurement, legal, and vendor management teams.
• Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring alignment with SAM goals such as compliance, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
• Engage with external vendors and internal stakeholders to manage risks and resolve project issues.
• Ensure delivery of SAM tools and services meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and present status reports and documentation for senior leadership.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience in IT projects, preferably SAM or IT Asset Management (ITAM).
• Strong understanding of software licensing, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
