Our Fortune 500 Media Client is seeking a Project Manager to support their Software Asset Management and Vendor Management Initiatives.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $61- $66/hr W2

Responsibilities:

Consult with internal business partners to assess needs, provide solutioning options, define scope of work, define delivery responsibilities, level of effort and assist team members in delivery

Establish SOPs, user guides procedures and documentation for ongoing Flexera operations

Create proactive Ops monitoring of Flexera application health, performance and data accuracy

Leads workshops, requirements gathering, stakeholder reviews and troubleshooting sessions

Must be able to organize, prioritize and manage product platform technology lifecycle

Manages change impacts during application deployment or process improvement initiatives

Manages sponsor, stakeholder and client expectations, presents updates and handles escalations diplomatically

Develops product and project roadmaps, timelines and milestones

Monitors progress across multiple projects and adjusts plans as needed

Identifies inter-project risks and dependencies, develops mitigation plans and drives resolution

Standardize processes across projects for consistency and efficiency

Applies continuous improvement and lessons learned

Bridges gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience Requirements:

Required Skills / Expertise:

10+ years of overall Project Management experience

Must have experience with Software Asset Management (Flexera is a big plus)

Must have experience working in large enterprise sized environments

Develop strategy, scope and plan around Flexera product management

Understanding of hardware and software asset discovery, license compliance, software usage

Experience managing software audits, compliance, license optimization and software lifecycle processes

Ability to translate technical data into actionable insights for stakeholders

Translate strategy into actionable plans across projects by establishing project requirements, deliverables, timelines and manage projects to expectations

Align project goals with business objectives by establishing product lifecycle roadmap dashboards

Establish documentation, Knowledgebase articles and user guides for recurring issues or common procedures

Establish reporting for project status and Ops support to manage risk and issue management

Creates and uses KPIs and dashboards to track performance and inform decisions

Clear communication skills to interact with executives, business stakeholders and IT delivery teams

Experience using PM tools like Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, MS 365, SharePoint

Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Procurement, Legal and Finance teams

Desired Skills and Technologies:

Familiarity with Flexera platform lifecycle or similar product knowledge

Familiarity with integrating Flexera with systems like Cherwell, Active Directory, etc.

Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methodologies

Understanding of Procurement processes and vendor negotiations

Understanding of software licensing models

Understanding of Powershell, Python or SQL scripting to automate tasks or ITSM integrations

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
