About The Role
We are looking for driven, delivery orientated Project Management or Engineering professional for a new role based either at our Head Office in Christchurch.
You will have a high level of autonomy and be responsible for managing multiple projects such as asset replacement and upgrades across the organisation's manufacturing facilities and distribution network. You will control all aspects of project delivery and may be assigned to lead a certain aspect on major projects managing contractors, consultants and work alongside our employees to drive the successful completion of these projects safely, within budget and quality expectations and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Full end-to-end project management of a variety of complex industrial projects across the organisation, predominantly brownfield.
Ensure projects are delivered safely to both people and the environment.
Contract management including consultants and contractors
Apply best practices to procurement to ensure our projects are set up for success.
Contribute with continuous improvement of our project delivery systems.
Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
About You
We are looking for a capable Project Management and Engineering professional who is adept at building strong relationships with key stakeholders and can lead them on a journey of success. You will be driven by success, well-organized and have a safety focused mindset. You will challenge the status quo and continually bring innovative solutions to the business.
Ideal Skills & Experience
Tertiary level degree in Engineering
6+ years of experience managing complex brownfield industrial projects
Structured and process orientated with the ability to apply a fit for purpose delivery approach
High level of experience in project front-end including concept and preliminary engineering, capital cost estimating, scheduling, and Business case development.
Experience delivering successful projects in excess of $2M from start-to-finish
Experience in managing multi-discipline engineering projects and teams
Strong HSE culture and management experience
