Our company is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic construction team. This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee various commercial, federal, and public works projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned construction professional to make a significant impact on our business and help shape our future success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of the project team, including contractors, architects, engineers, and other professionals.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Manage and mitigate project risks, and resolve issues and conflicts that arise.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes.
- Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure high standards are maintained.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial, federal, and public works projects.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to secure the best terms and prices from suppliers and contractors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed to project sites.
