Our client, a leader in the education sector, is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the Department of Information Technology supporting various initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Sacramento, California (Remote)

Pay Range: $60 per hour

What's the Job?

• Manage large-scale enterprise information technology projects from initiation to closure.
• Facilitate organizational change management and business process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, roles, and responsibilities.
• Utilize various project management methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
• Develop and maintain project management documentation and reports for stakeholders.
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Five years of project management experience with large-scale IT projects.
• Three years of experience in organizational change management and business process re-engineering.
• Two years of experience managing projects using agile methodologies.
• Experience in a Higher Education environment is preferred.
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
