Summary

Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the project life cycle. The Project Manager will manage projects in support of the execution of product roadmaps, product development, launches, and marketing, to ensure alignment with market demands, technology trends, and competitive landscapes for manufactured products.

This position supports our Water Heater Division, located in Roswell, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize project management expertise to lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of projects.
  • Communicate a clear vision of project goals and objectives and facilitate team cohesion to ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Identify and manage risks across multiple projects and establish contingency plans as needed.
  • Lead resolution of project issues.
  • Ensure adherence of project management practices through accountability and training.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with functional owners and stakeholders including gaining support of assigned projects.
  • Report on status of projects at stakeholder review meetings.
  • Communicate best practices and feedback to teams, senior leadership, and the larger project management community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 7 years of project management experience related to product marketing and engineering of manufactured products.
  • Strong knowledge of product development processes, including design, costing, manufacturing, sourcing, and commercialization.
  • Comfortable leading project multiple complex projects at one time.
  • Able to communicate complex ideas in a simple and effective manner.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally to develop and refine shared business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a matrix team environment.
  • Ability to be detail oriented without losing sight of the big picture.

How To Stand Out

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience with Clarity PPM or other project management tools.
  • HVAC, Water Heater or appliance industry experience.
