Job Title: Project Manager – Data Center (DC) Migration

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in Data Center (DC) Migration projects, ideally within the banking or financial services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project management, stakeholder communication, risk management, and successful delivery of data center migration activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage full lifecycle Data Center migration projects for a banking environment.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure, application, security, and business teams to ensure smooth migration.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies early, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and regulatory requirements throughout the migration.
• Manage third-party vendors, service providers, and internal teams involved in the project.
• Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Conduct post-migration reviews and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale Data Center migration projects.
• Strong understanding of banking IT infrastructure, security, and compliance standards.
• Excellent knowledge of application migration, server relocation, cloud/on-prem transitions, and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Banking domain experience is a added advantage.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an advantage.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with cloud migration strategies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) in addition to DC migration.
• Previous experience in Southeast Asian banking projects would be a plus.
• ITIL certification.
