ABOUT THE ROLE

Now seeking a Project Manager, this role will work alongside an accomplished Project Director. You will work on projects from end to end, as well as jumping onto projects at various stages, with implementation of the project delivery, design, financial, contractual and contract administration procedures for the required Projects.


DUTIES

  • Co-ordinating project consultants and contractors throughout the concept, planning, design, construction, and post construction phases.
  • Project planning, scheduling, cost control and budgeting.
  • Managing clients and subcontractor relationships throughout the entire project life cycle.
  • Providing technical knowledge and commercial awareness to senior management.
  • Implementation and leadership around WHS, Quality and Environmental standards to meet corporate and legislative requirements.
  • Managing and maintaining the design process to set standards and meet project charter.
  • To develop and maintain a good working relationship with the tenants, consultants, builders and subcontractors and/or agents/s, to the benefit of the company.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • A track record of 5+ years’ experience ideally as a Project Manager with a Builder or in a Property delivery function for a Client, Developer, PM, Design or Engineering firm.
  • Formal education in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or Property preferred.
  • Aptitude to coordinate and manage design consultants throughout the Design Development and Construction stages and an ability to liaise and negotiate outcomes with Authorities, Contractors and other stakeholders to meet project outcomes.
  • Preparedness to take ownership of responsibilities and challenges in achieving project outcomes.
  • Intuitiveness in working to broad direction with excellent problem solving, thorough analysis and forward thinking characteristics.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills and responsiveness in reporting.
