Responsibilities

  • Handle all film adaptation requests for a client, within a budget (advertiser and/or brand). Receive a brief and assess the technical and human resources needed, as well as costs. Organize and oversee post-production until delivery for broadcast.
  • Direct contact with clients.
  • Organize and coordinate the execution of the client’s request following budget processes and specifications.
  • Collaboration with external stakeholders (clients) and many internal departments: planning manager, sound department (sound engineer/producer and sound administrative manager), graphic designers.
  • Deals with external service providers for broadcast tapes.
  • Receive and analyze a client request for an existing video adaptation.
  • Estimate costs following pricing grids and client processes and monitor the budget.
  • Monitor post-production of all versions until delivery for broadcast.
  • Advise on optimizing post-production organization to reduce workload and costs.
  • Organize technical and human resources (scheduling and booking of rooms and technicians).
  • Coordinate with the sound department, collect materials, and relay information. Monitor image editing sessions.



Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Project Manager or in a similar position.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Knowledge of the audiovisual production chain and entire post-production technical process.
  • Experience in time scheduling, requirements analysis and experience with work project management tools. Practical knowledge of budget planning.
  • Ability to organize work and build good relationships and efficient communication with clients and co-workers.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to build and maintain good relationships with stakeholders and collaborators.
  • Ability to handle pressure and stress, and demonstrate a proactive approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
