Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a knack for strategic planning, budgeting, and scheduling? If so, we're looking for you! We are a well-established construction company seeking a Permanent Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to make a significant impact within our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in managing complex construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to

• Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
• Developing comprehensive project plans, including resources, timelines, and budgets for new construction projects.
• Managing and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the stipulated deadlines.
• Conducting risk management to minimize project risks and ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Implementing effective communication plan to keep all project stakeholders updated about the project progress.
• Reviewing the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities.
• Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path, and preparing related reports for stakeholders.
• Facilitating and leading meetings and project team activities.
• Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Manager position should possess the following qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing large scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Proficient in project management software programs and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong strategic planning, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on attitude.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• PMP or equivalent certification will be considered an asset.
