Project Manager – Power Systems (Full-Time, North Vancouver)

Location: North Vancouver, BC | Hybrid

EdgeTunePower Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager with a background in power systems engineering to lead and coordinate projects involving real-time simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, and advanced energy management. This role focuses on the integration, validation, and control of inverter-based resources (IBRs) across utility-scale power plants, mission-critical data centers, and autonomous microgrids. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of projects involving Power Management Systems (PMS), Power Plant Controllers (PPC), and Energy Management Systems (EMS)
• Coordinate cross-functional teams of engineers and technical staff to ensure project milestones, budgets, and deliverables are met
• Interface directly with utility clients, OEMs, and technology partners to define scope, timelines, and validation protocols
• Oversee Control-Hardware-in-the-Loop (C-HIL) simulation activities and provide technical oversight during real-time system testing
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and compliance packages for internal and external stakeholders
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for critical-path components in complex energy projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is a plus)
• 3–7 years of relevant experience managing engineering or energy-related projects
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple timelines and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training is an asset
