Our company is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Permanent Project Manager to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including project budgets, production project management, project schedules, and initial project launches. This role also entails reviewing blueprints and managing the Bill of Materials. We are looking for a candidate who can bring a wealth of experience, innovation, and enthusiasm to our team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of project management, from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required.
- Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff.
- Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.
- Secure growth opportunities and initiate new projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the Tech Services industry.
- Proven working experience in project management.
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Experience reviewing blueprints and managing the Bill of Materials.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects from conception to successful implementation.
- Strong ability to work in a high-pressure environment with multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
