Summary

Job Title: Project Manager – Marketing Operations


Location: Onsite in Memphis


Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM


Employment Type: Contract


A nationally recognized organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple marketing projects within high-performing, cross-functional teams. This individual will focus on aligning project timelines, optimizing workflow, tracking progress, and ensuring successful execution across Email Marketing and broader performance marketing initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Planning & Execution


  • Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects, with a focus on digital marketing (particularly email campaigns).
  • Apply core project management principles across all phases of the project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.


Prioritization & Workflow Management


  • Define clear goals, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Encourage agility and adaptability in planning, helping teams move efficiently from concept to delivery.
  • Promote ongoing feedback loops and continuous improvement.


Governance & Performance Metrics


  • Establish clear governance models and decision-making structures.
  • Define and track KPIs to monitor progress, quality, and team efficiency.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, charts, and reports that give visibility into project health.


Progress Tracking & Reporting


  • Leverage tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Ziflow to create transparent reporting structures for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor deliverables and dependencies to ensure timelines are met.
  • Identify and remove obstacles to progress.


Risk & Issue Management


  • Anticipate potential risks and collaborate with stakeholders on mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure issues are addressed quickly and communicated effectively to leadership.
  • Foster a solution-oriented mindset within project teams.


Qualifications:


  • 3–5 years of experience in Project Management or Marketing Operations.
  • Strong track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to work well in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.


Preferred Technical Skills:


  • Project management platforms (Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, Ziflow)
  • CRMs and ticketing systems
  • SharePoint
  • Salesforce
