Location: Lake Charles Refinery

Duration: 11 months (possible extension)

Focus: Capital Projects + Fall Turnaround (Sulfur Recovery Unit – Mechanical Focus)

Summary:

Seeking a Project Manager to lead both capital and turnaround projects, with a key focus on a fall mechanical turnaround for a sulfur recovery unit. Role includes full-cycle project oversight—team leadership, planning, execution, cost/schedule control, and contractor management.

Requirements

Must Have:

• TWIC Card

• Bachelor’s in Engineering

• 10+ years in oil & gas or petrochemicals

• 5+ years as sole Project Manager

• Experience with capital and turnaround projects

• Specific experience with mechanical sulfur recovery unit turnarounds

Preferred:

• 10+ years as sole Project Manager

• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, DOT requirements

• Experience managing contractors and teams

• PE license

• PMP certification

Position Type: Contract (eligible for benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401K, and weekly pay). A per diem split is available for non-local candidates (no daily per diem offered).
