Summary

Project Leader


A leading organisation is currently seeking a Project Leader to support the successful delivery of construction and development initiatives. The selected individual will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring all aspects are delivered to scope, on time, and within budget.

This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of construction processes and project lifecycle management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction and development projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to meet project goals.
  • Oversee resource planning, including the allocation of staff, materials, and equipment for maximum efficiency.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, uphold safety standards, and resolve any operational challenges.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies while escalating critical issues when required.
  • Track project costs and budgets, providing consistent updates and reports on financial performance.
  • Ensure all permits, inspections, and regulatory documentation are obtained and maintained in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver regular progress updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Lead and motivate project teams to deliver high-quality work while promoting team engagement and collaboration.
  • Facilitate communication between internal departments and external stakeholders to maintain alignment throughout the project.
  • Support final project reviews and ensure seamless handover to relevant operational teams.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A qualification in Project Management or a related discipline is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience managing construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools will be considered an asset.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Solid knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and standards.
