About the team

The Product Management Division is one of the key organisations supporting our client's growth. We will be involved in all phases of product development and work closely with management, business managers, sales, consultants, designers, and engineers to create the best product experience. This position will connect the PdM, who defines the business requirements, with the design and development team, and will be responsible for adjusting the project schedule and managing progress. You will lay the foundation for smooth development by planning and designing according to the requirements definition, organising detailed specifications, managing issues, preparing for release, and preparing various progress documents. You will also be responsible for managing the development progress and release together with the engineer manager.

Main duties:

- Collaboration with various development teams, confirmation of specifications/details, and document organisation

- Schedule adjustment and progress check before release

- Organising unclear points and issues and confirming with relevant parties

- Tool (Notion/development ticket) update

Required skills and experiences

- Experience managing the development and progress of IT systems and web services (2+ years)

- Experience directing sprint development as PdM or progress management

- Experience in working on multiple large projects in parallel

- Ability to smoothly cooperate with development team members

- Ability to perform detailed checking tasks accurately

- Ability to execute with both carefulness and speed

- Experience in implementing projects while building consensus with various stakeholders

- Communication and interpersonal skills

- Structured dialogue to bridge the gap between stakeholders

- Skills to organize, structure and communicate the intentions of stakeholders

- Ability to work in a team to produce high-quality deliverables

- Native level Japanese

Preferred skills and experiences

- Understanding of development specifications (at a level where you can converse with engineers)

- Experience working with multiple teams

- Basic experience with Figma, GitHub, etc.

- Fluent business level English
