Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team supporting Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA). This individual will serve as the primary liaison and airport/owner representative, managing large-scale infrastructure projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in design and construction management, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery within complex airport environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the owner’s representative, directing all aspects of assigned projects
• Manage project scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring completion within contractual obligations
• Lead development of RFPs and oversee procurement for design and construction services
• Define project goals and implement effective strategies to achieve them
• Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of contract terms, airport policies, and owner objectives
• Supervise all technical, administrative, and fiscal functions of assigned projects
• Coordinate with airport management to develop and maintain budgets, schedules, and execution plans
• Oversee owner staff involved in stakeholder coordination and project delivery
• Conduct field surveys to accurately document conditions and inform strategic decisions
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of project scope, authorizations, reports, and drawings (including CAD documentation and narratives for all scopes)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, or related technical field (required)
• Optional certifications: AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, or similar
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with airport projects
• Experience with projects exceeding $10 million in value
• Familiarity with delivery methods including Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, and Design/Build
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards, practices, and regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
• Ability to work in CAD or Revit preferred
