SFS Architecture is seeking a creative and self-motivated licensed Project Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative team. The Project Manager will oversee projects through all phases. The Project Manager will be accountable for a variety of projects and project teams, client relations, project scheduling, quality control, and budget management. The ideal candidate will have a stellar track record communicating with clients and delivering high-quality work, particularly with public or institutional entities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Registered architect with 15+ years of relevant experience working on complex project types for public clients.
• Bachelor of Architecture degree.
• Work efficiently and effectively balancing design excellence and budget demands.
• Strong technical and soft skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist Principals in determining scopes of services, fee proposals, and delivery methods.
• Prepare Owner-Architect and Architect-Consultant Agreements.
• Establish methods for Owner-Architect communication.
• Identify changes in project scope that require additional services.
• Understand project budgets and balance design work within said budgets.
• Prepare staffing plans and project schedules to meet project goals.
• Maintain compliance with established milestones.
• Conduct periodic progress meetings with design and project teams.
• Define roles and responsibilities of team members.
• Coordinate constructability and quality control reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders during the design process to maintain design intent.
• Assist Owner in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
• Manage project-specific bidding processes and assist clients in selecting contractors.
• Manage information exchange throughout the design through construction phases.
• Resolve conflicts that may arise during design through construction.
• Manage modifications to the construction contract.
• Review and sign construction pay applications.
