Agile IT Project Manager – Software Delivery

📍 Cork (Little Island) | Hybrid – 1 day per week | 6-Month Rolling Contract

We’re looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead software delivery projects for our client. This is a 6-month rolling daily rate contract, offering the opportunity to work across high-impact technology programmes within a well-structured PMO.

You’ll be responsible for driving the successful delivery of full lifecycle software initiatives — from planning and execution through to testing, implementation, and stakeholder sign-off.

What you’ll be doing:

• End-to-end project delivery of enterprise-grade software systems
• Liaising with cross-functional teams including software development, QA, infrastructure, and business units
• Managing scope, timeline, risk, budget, and third-party dependencies
• Ensuring robust reporting, stakeholder engagement, and project governance
• Driving Agile within the team.

What we’re looking for:

• 6+ years of IT Project Management experience, ideally within enterprise environments
• Demonstrable track record delivering complex software projects (internal builds, integrations, or transformations)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with strong commercial awareness
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and collaborating with technical teams
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, MS Project, or Confluence
• Agile, PMP or Prince2 certification an advantage
