Job Summary: The Project Manager for Civil and Landscape Development will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of civil or landscape development projects within the county. This role requires a strong leader with technical expertise and a deep understanding of civil engineering, landscape architecture or urban planning. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and environmental services, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, schedule, and budget for civil and landscape development projects. Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Budget Management: Analyze and allocate budgets for different project aspects. Advocate for additional funding when necessary and ensure projects are completed within the allocated budget.

Team Leadership: Lead a team of professionals, including engineers, architects, and contractors. Hire freelance professionals or select project team members from existing departments as needed.

Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed of project status, address any concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on track.

Compliance and Permitting: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

Quality Control: Perform project quality control to ensure installations meet plans, specifications, and company and customer standards. Conduct site inspections and address any issues promptly.

Safety Management: Ensure all team members adhere to company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
