We have an opportunity for a Sr. Program Specialist (Project Manager) to join us at Honeywell, in Bucharest, where you will report directly to our Program Manager / Sr. Program Supervisor. This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key responsibilities
Managing projects for customers coming from oil&gas, chemical, power plant industry
Apply applicable Honeywell QA and project management procedures / methods like e.g., GPM/GDM & HOS
Report relevant new business opportunities to account managers
Work with sales (on request) to ensure that project proposals are supported with proposal deliverables e.g., risk/opportunity, estimate, project plan, planning
Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure using the integrated tools (Primavera, MsProject, SAP, CORA,etc.).
Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
Monitor and reports project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables
Monitor and control the financial status of the project (EAC, Billings, cost budgets, milestone payments, rebates, warranty)
Identification and manage project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
Coordinate the project team members and communicate project status and updates to stakeholders
Ensure project documentation is complete and up-to-date, maintained / archived, made available, utilising project workspaces, to all parties concerned and effectively used (managing the project)
Provide guidance and support to project management professionals
Establish professional relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices
Responsible for technical scope of assigned projects
Travel to customer required at a yearly average of 30% - Flexibility is required
Key skills and qualifications
University graduate - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
Project management certification / trainings (e.g., PMP) is an advantage
Minimum 4 years of experience in project management with domestic and international projects in oil&gas / electrical / automation industry
Experience in leading and managing projects of varying complexity
Good communication skills and fluent English language, any additional language is a plus
Knowledge of project management methodologies
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to motivate and inspire project’s team members
