The Project Manager will interpret the scope of a new contract as defined by sales and management, coordinate and manage projects from concept through completion, develop and maintain a baseline schedule, adhere to an established budget and interact with the customer on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the contract review once awarded.
* Prepare Microsoft project schedules to define project scope deliverables.
* Coordinate the following processes/departments associated with manufacturing operations:
* Contact Review
* Procedures and specifications
* Document control
* Data book Compilation
* Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
* Production Scheduling
* Arrange customer meetings to review schedules, issues, and action items.
* Responsible for monitoring and reporting of all aspects of assigned projects to both internal and external customers. Including schedules, costs, supply chain performance, issues and action items.
* Anticipate problems and concerns and provide timely solutions.
* Coordinate drawing and document submittals, approvals, distribution, and revision control.
* Maintain a strong working relationship with the customer's third-party inspection companies.
* Accountable for Progress Billing Report and customer communication regarding aged receivables.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Preferred: Certified Associate in PMP or PMP
* Preferred: 4-year college degree
* 3-5 year's experience associated with project management of manufactured and fabricated offshore drilling and production equipment, or similar equipment
* Computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft word, Excel, and Project
* Knowledge and experience in MRP/ERP systems
* Able to read and comprehend engineering drawings
* Strong planning and organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical data to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Experienced in machine shop/welding environment
* Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints

* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
* Work will primarily be in office environment at the facility
* Occasional work outside or in manufacturing facility
