Role Overview
The Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with the scope. As a project manager, you need to define the project's objectives, create schedules, and oversee quality control throughout the entire project. In addition, you will need to be able to identify, assess and minimize project risks to ensure successful project completion.
This role will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of assigned projects can be executed as planned and will request resources to fill the needs of the project.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and on or under budget
* Ensure that the project has realistic estimates according to the defined scope.
* Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
* Manage project schedule, budget, quality, risks, as well as communication and procurement processes.
* Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
* Ensure that necessary agreements/contracts are established and followed up with third party vendors / suppliers.
* Manage risks, issues, and decisions, and take actions to mitigate or correct as required.
* Manage all phases of the project from requirements gathering and signoff, design and Engineering, manufacturing, QA and testing, and shipping and delivery.
* Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques and ensure changes are documented to customer with an appropriate change request in a timely fashion.
* Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
* Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques including the use of EAC or WIP calculations
* Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
* Work with Planning Manager & Production Manager to ensure assigned projects are properly staffed
* Manage customer purchase orders (PO), intercompany purchase orders, intercompany cost transfers, and 3rd party purchase orders for assigned projects
* Assure purchase orders and any revisions are entered in salesforce / IFS for assigned projects
* Provide weekly forecasts and 30 day lookahead for assigned projects for coordination and reporting. Forecasts will need to be broken out by Z&J and CCI orders
* Gather and review project documentation for completeness prior to sending to customer / other departments.
* Ensure billing package is complete (signed timesheets, bill sheet, expense back-ups, etc) prior to sending to billing coordinator / accounting for invoicing
* Assist in the development of processes, procedures, and workflows to improve performance of the group.
* Assist CCI Finance with collection on overdue invoices from customers for assigned projects
* Other duties as assigned
Documentation Submittal Management:
* All project documentation
* Review contracts and purchase orders prior to sign off on PO to ensure project is executed appropriately. Particular attention should be paid to contract terms and conditions in the areas of delivery and payment terms, damages, indemnity, and any unusual requirements. If outside of our standard T&C's then seek legal review / approval may be needed.
* Change Orders & Change Order Log
* Maintain Risk Register and Mitigation Plan
Status Reports:
* Maintain Project Schedule
* Maintain Project PO and Expediting Logs
* Maintain Project Financials (Work Completed, Work In Progress, Work to Complete, Cost at Completion).
* Monthly Project Report
QHSE:
* Promote & maintain awareness and compliance with HSE standards in accordance with Company standards and legal requirements.
* Support the HSE program ensuring updates are communicated in a timely fashion
* Monitor and report any near misses, accidents, or HSE issues
* Identify any quality issues that are recognized on assigned projects

* Bachelor Degree in appropriate field of study desirable
* Proven working experience in project management required
* Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Project
* Creative thinking/problem solving skills necessary
* Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
* Strong commitment to seeing the task to completion
* Strong organizational and planning skills and ability to multitask and set priorities for self and others based on IMI business needs.
* Must work well in a dynamic team environment with emphasis on communication and soft skills
* This position is recognized as a multi-dimensional role coordinating with internal and external resources to ensure Projects are completed on time and within budget. The resource filling this role must be able to work with internal and/or external clients developing an in depth understanding of their needs and requirements. The ability to effectively initiate, develop, and coordinate resources (people and material) is considered critical for success in this role.
