Trade Qualified Painter who can project manage multiple commercial painting sites across Hobart and nearby regions.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for the execution of all repaint projects from start to finish across Hobart and nearby regions. Typical projects include schools, shopping centres, industrial buildings and more. While you are 'off the tools', 80% of your time is spent travelling to various sites and 20% in the office. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the completion of works for multiple, concurrent projects safely, on time, to contract specification, and to budget.
• Day to day planning of labour, managing and developing an increasing workforce, problem solving and job monitoring
• Work with the sales team to assess job costings and methodology
• Ensure conformity to our WHS standards and systems
• Regular communication with clients

What are we looking for from you?

• Trade qualified painter
• Experience managing small teams of wages staff and sub contractors on concurrent projects
• Assessing budgeted hours and costs of projects
• Ability to complete documentation electronically
• Supervising safety compliance
• Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers and monitoring on site performance
• Ensuring client satisfaction through high levels of written and verbal communication
