My client, a well-established and highly respected commercial general contractor, is hiring a Project Manager in West Sacramento.


They specialize in healthcare (OSHPD/HCAI) and DSA school construction projects, setting the standard for excellence across Northern California and Southern Oregon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall project and team performance from preconstruction to closeout.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Estimate and manage project budgets and schedules in collaboration with field superintendents.
  • Administer contracts and manage project financials (buyout, subcontracts, change orders, owner billing, status reports).
  • Oversee project documentation, RFI/submittal review, safety compliance, and insurance documentation.
  • Mentor and develop project staff, supporting ongoing training and career growth.
  • Host and lead all project meetings and communications.
  • Drive successful delivery of healthcare and education construction projects.


Candidate Requirements

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction, with a focus on healthcare (OSHPD/HCAI) and/or DSA school projects.
  • Current and previous experience working for a General Contractor (GC) is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred (or equivalent field experience).
  • Strong proficiency with Sage 300, Procore (or similar platforms), Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
