Summary

What will you be doing? Barclays Services Corp. seeks Project Manager in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available): * Conduct project, product and program management for strategic technology initiatives, covering development, testing, architecture, and production management across multiple work streams. * Take the ownership of global delivery roadmap, product vision, strategy and document project plans, dependencies, and risks. * Hands-on governance of Agile & Dev Ops best practices; ensure implementation is consistent with sprint planning, scrums, JIRA usage. Optimize delivery pipeline throughout Dev lifecycle. Use of bank-wide tools as appropriate. * Oversee status reporting, articulation of strategy, and communications with stakeholders. * Collaborate with trading, operations, and/or product teams, and partner with development teams, first-line support, and vendors with lateral functions such as risk, controls, and compliance. * Conduct verbal and written communications with multiple levels of stakeholders as well as developers, first line support, and vendors; this will be a regular part of this role as well as interaction with lateral functions such as risk, controls, and compliance. * Establish standards for delivery and best practices across business and technology. * Drive delivery and make informed decisions on tradeoffs between tactical and strategic solutions, buy vs build, and resource allocation. * Create discussion points into short and long-term actionable plans. * Innovate Product features and automate the governance processes. * Use cases creation chalking out all primary and alternative user decisions and system behavior. * Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards. * May telecommute. This position is eligible for incentives pursuant to Barclays Employee Referral Program. Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $161,000 per year Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $170,000 per year The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available. Purpose of the role To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank's technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap. Accountabilities * Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development. * Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team. * Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure. * Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance. * Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance standards. * Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience. * Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
