Project Manager
Position Overview
We are a large Indianapolis GC specializing in ground up Commercial Construction. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction sectors, including commercial, healthcare, municipal, and educational facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets and ensure adherence to them
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site
- Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and team members
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction, with a focus on commercial, healthcare, and educational projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in construction
