Job Summary
The Sr. Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of projects related to solutions in technology and physical security systems. This role involves managing cross -functional team of engineers and technicians, ensuring project deliverables are met on time, within scope and within budget. Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred to enhance project management efficiency and adaptability.
Essential Functions
- Pr oject Planning and Execution
- Take ownership of assigned projects with its timeline and resources to proactively identify and mitigate issues
- Develop comprehensive project plans from full understanding of the scope, objectives , timelines, and resource allocation to ensure it is delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and lead project kickoff meetings, ensuring all stakeholders understand project goals and responsibilities
- Manage changes on project scope, schedule, and costs in collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for c ustomer s to provide timely project updates and to address any concerns
- Conduct routine inspections of work sites for quality, scope, standards compliance, and safety
- Documentation and Budget Management
- Prepare billing forecasts based on project timelines and resource allocation, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing
- Monitor project expenditures and adjust budgets as necessary to maintain financial control and profitability
- Provide regular progress reports to the Director of Operations and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any deviations from the plan
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and activities (Submittals, Close-outs and reports)
- Resource Scheduling and Others
- Plan and schedule personnel resources to ensure optimal project staffing and efficiency
- Coordinate with department heads to allocate engineers and technicians based on project needs and availability
- Adjust resource schedules in response to project changes, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining productivity
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of Project Management experience in physical security systems, network and construction
- Current and valid US driver’s license
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to handle multiple projects
- Resourceful especially when projects have ambiguous requirements
- Experience managing c ustomer and vendor relationships
- Extreme adaptability; respond effectively to changes in situation or information
- A bility to influence others and build consensus using advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Strong project management skills, process-oriented, highly organized, and quality-focused
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written via documented report, Teams and Email
- Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels, internal and external
- Experience with billing forecasts, budgeting, and resource scheduling
- Experience in Project Management applications like Asana, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Jira, etc.
- [ Preferred ] Experience with Agile methodologies
- [ Preferred ] CAD and or BlueBeam experience
