Job Description:
Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:
* Demonstrates ownership and accountability for project results, resolving any issues and solving problems throughout project life cycle.
* Partners with stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing.
* Manages project scope by ensuring changes to scope are documented and approved.
* Creates a work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task within project.
* Creates a project schedule to identify when each task will be performed; determine how results will be measured.
* Tracks and reports project milestones and provides timely status reports to organizational leaders.
* Communicates expectations to team members and stakeholders, acts as a mediator coach and motivates project team members on a proactive basis to foster the cohesive functioning of the interdisciplinary team.
* Maintains timely, effective communications with the department leadership regarding all events or proposed changes which might impact regulatory issues or policies or procedures.
* Interacts effectively with others within the Hospital District, other outside agencies, and the community.
* Completes a post-project evaluation to determine how well results are achieved.
* Develops tools and best practices for project management and execution.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business or Health related field or Diploma from a school of nursing.
* 2 plus years of work experience in project management in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
* 2 plus years of experience in a role with lead responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2 plus years of experience with project management tools and /or software packages.
* Project Management Certification.
