Project Manager - Full-time, Salary + Bonus

RCC Flooring - New Orleans, LA

RCC Flooring is seeking a driven, self-starter pursuing a career in commercial flooring in the greater New Orleans, Louisiana area. The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of estimating, bidding process, cost analysis and contract administrations as well as overseeing flooring installation. This position involves networking in the community, meeting with architects, designers and contractors, building relationships with clients and referral partners, measuring jobs, preparing estimates, placing orders, managing projects until completion and securing new business. This position comes with a base salary plus bonus, cell phone, expense account, full benefits package that includes 401K and health insurance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

● Bachelor's degree required; Associates Degree considered with minimum two years flooring preferred.

● Strong work ethic with a drive to exceed expectations.

● Works well independently and on a team and demonstrates strong leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.

● Highly organized and detail oriented.

● Strong supervisory skills and ability to oversee large projects.

● Thorough understanding of industry practices, processes, standards and their impact on projects activities.

● Ability to meet tight deadlines.

● Effective, positive communication and interpersonal skills.

● Able to communicate effectively both in writing and in person.

● Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and On-Screen Flooring Estimate software.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Reports directly to company Management and Owner.

● Oversees total effort to ensure all projects are in accordance with design, budget and schedule.

● Initiate and maintain liaison with client and A/E contacts to facilitate activities.

● Monitor and manage direction of the on-site Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget and implement corrective measures when necessary.

● Represent RCC in project meetings.

● Manage financial aspects of contracts.

● Plan, coordinate and supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned projects.

● Maintain official project log and documentation files.

● Confirm the correct implementation of company and project specific Safety Programs.

● Build referral partnerships with designers, contractors, restoration companies, builders, property managers, end users, owners, etc.

● Secure and manage client base; developing lasting client relationships by treating professionally with courtesy, providing excellent follow up, and exceeding expectations.

● Learn a broad product range including broadloom carpet, carpet tile, resilient, ceramic tile and hardwood products that are focused on design, performance and sustainability. And understand installation and use of all products.

● Follow sales process from measuring and product selection to post installation follow up.
