The Division 10 Project Manager estimates, schedules, evaluates, and purchases Division 10 products and efficiently processes commercial construction projects to satisfy customer’s material, schedule, and our internal financial requirements.
Essential Functions
- Review plans and specifications for product quantities and details, and prices of the products through Comsense and by soliciting vendor quotes
- Provide accurate cost estimates for bid preparation.
- Use product knowledge to detail Division 10 products in the preparation of shop drawings and submittals for review by the customer and architect
- Identify conflicts, code issues and other design questions to the salesperson and architect
- Evaluate vendor quotes for accuracy and places product orders for large and small projects in a timely manner in order to meet the construction schedule and purchase within the project budget
- Handle potentially large dollar and scheduling impact on a project and the project’s potential profitability, with crucial attention to detail, accuracy, and promptness
- Ensure accuracy of product orders and compliance with drawings, specifications and approved submittals and shop drawings
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers as well as architects both verbally and in writing
- Follow-up correspondence in writing (email primarily)
- Responsive to returning phone calls in a timely manner
- Communicate with factories and suppliers
- Track deliveries and keep the GC informed
- Communicate with installation supervisor and resolve product issues and delivery schedule issues
- Identify and process all changes per the customer’s direction and as required
- Prepare direct entry sales orders and purchase orders
- Produce fabrication work orders
- Coordinate project submittal process
- Provide close-out documents as required
- Other relative duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education/experience, preferably in Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Technology
- Current and valid US driver’s license
- At least 3 years in the Division 10 industry preferred
- Comsense experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Professional, Outlook, and web-based applications.
- Strong project management skills, process-oriented, highly organized, and quality-focused.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels, internal and external.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to handle multiple projects.
- Detail-oriented with strong mathematical skills.

Work Environment
This job operates primarily in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May occasionally require business travel.
