Starside Security & Investigation, Inc. Detention Services Division (DSD) is looking for a Project Manager for our Detention Services in San Diego. Starside is responsible for Transporting and providing Hospital watch for Federal Detainees in San Diego and Surrounding Areas. Project Manager Applicants must have a clean background (as verified by USMS) and all Project Managers must have a minimum of 5 years Detention experience and 2 years of supervisory or management of detention officers experience. Starside’s Project Managers and First Line Supervisors are responsible to ensure that all Detention Officers DO’s are professional and courteous at all time and have excellent uniform appearance. Project Manager also tracks training and make sure paperwork is complete and accurate. The Project Manager prepares and submits Timesheet, Schedule and staffing plans to Starside’s Corporate Office. Ideal Candidate: 5 to 10 years of Detention / Security Guard Management supervising a minimum of 10 detention or security officers. Clean Background / Clear Credit / Driving record Pass a Pre-employment Physical and Psychological evaluation California Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW) a plus POST Certification (Advanced / Executive) a plus Previous Law Enforcement, Detention or Court Security experience, a strong plus Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and to respond to emergency transports and/or situations after hours Willing to work Monday thru Friday and provide training on weekends Special Operations / Military a plus (DD214) All Starside employees must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance Compensation is dependent on experience. Project Managers must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of staff at a prison, jail or hospital and courthouse from judges, police officers, Detention Officers, (DO’s), all levels of management and administrators at community, local, city, county and federal courthouses.
