Project Manager – Data Change Delivery

Location: London / Hybrid Working

We’re supporting a leading insurance organisation in their search for a Project Manager to join their Data Change Delivery function. This role is squarely focused on delivering business-led data initiatives – working with senior stakeholders across the organisation to deliver change that directly supports commercial and operational goals.

This is not an IT infrastructure or technical delivery role. It’s about delivering projects that unlock the value of data across key business areas such as Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and Operations.

Critical Requirement:

• Deep experience within the insurance industry is essential.
• Candidates without solid insurance experience – ideally from London Market, carriers, or brokers – will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the successful delivery of business-facing data projects from initiation through to completion.
• Maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, and status reports to ensure full transparency and governance.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives, timelines, and outcomes.
• Manage budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Ensure business readiness, adoption, and benefits realisation as part of the delivery approach.
• Support and collaborate closely with Programme Managers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners across the data change portfolio.

Required Experience:

• Solid experience as a Project Manager within the insurance sector, ideally within data or transformation programmes.
• Demonstrable success delivering end-to-end business change projects in complex environments.
• Understanding of data-related initiatives – such as reporting improvement, data quality, governance, or operational data change.
• Skilled in stakeholder management, project governance, and structured delivery frameworks (e.g., Prince2, Agile, or hybrid approaches).
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, driving clarity and progress.
